RukysPlace was born from a singular vision: to create a space where luxury feels personal, where every guest is treated as family, and where every detail — from the thread count of our linens to the curvature of a cocktail glass — reflects an unwavering commitment to excellence.

Founded in Lagos by hospitality entrepreneur Ruky Adegoke, RukysPlace began as a boutique hotel with just 12 rooms and a small restaurant. Over a decade of passionate service, we have grown into a full-scale luxury destination featuring 50+ premium rooms and suites, a celebrated fine-dining restaurant, and a world-class premium bar.

Today, RukysPlace is recognised as one of Lagos's premier luxury destinations — a place where discerning travellers, business executives, and local patrons come to experience the perfect blend of Nigerian warmth and international sophistication.

A Decade of Excellence

2014
The Beginning
RukysPlace opens its doors on Victoria Island, Lagos with 12 rooms and a 40-seat restaurant. Booked solid within the first month.
2016
Restaurant Expansion
The restaurant expands to 150 seats and is awarded "Best New Restaurant" by Lagos Food & Travel Magazine. Chef Amaka joins the team.
2018
Premium Bar Launch
The RukysPlace Bar opens, quickly becoming one of Lagos's premier nightlife destinations with a curated collection of 300+ spirits.
2020
Digital Transformation
Launch of online booking and delivery platform. Online orders account for 40% of restaurant revenue within the first year.
2022
50 Rooms & Suites
Completion of the East Wing expansion brings the total to 50+ premium rooms and suites including our signature penthouse level.
2024 – Present
A New Era
RukysPlace celebrates 10 years with a complete rebrand, luxury spa addition, and the launch of our guest loyalty programme.
